NIF All Hands Meeting 2009: June 11-12 at NIH Neurosciences Center, Bethesda, MD

The 2-day NIF All-Hands Meeting 2009 will be held June 11-12, 2009 at the NIH Neurosciences Center in Bethesda, Maryland. This meeting will feature:

  • Presentations
  • Interactive Demonstrations
  • Planning Sessions
  • Feedback & Discussion Forums
  • Tutorials
  • Registration Information

Sessions will run from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm with breaks provided throughout the day. NIF All Hands Meeting 2009 will present the newest NIF release capabilities and functionality to the participants.

A tentative schedule for this year's NIF AHM can be accessed below under Program Information. This program may be revised or updated as final details are worked out.

Interested applicants of all levels are encouraged to attend.

The NIF is made possible through funding provided by the National Institutes of Health (http://www.nih.gov/).

The application deadline for the NIF All Hands Meeting 2009 is June 1st. Please register at your earliest convenience.

LODGING


A block of hotel rooms has been reserved, beginning on Wednesday, June 10, and ending Saturday, June 13, at the reduced rate of $209.00 per night, plus 13% sales tax at the Marriott Bethesda North Hotel & Conference Center.

To reserve a room at this hotel, please call 1-800-859-8003 and refer to the "NIF All Hands Meeting" before Wednesday, May 20, 2009.

Attendees preferring to stay elsewhere may make alternate lodging arrangements.

FOOD


No meals will be provided. However, there is a cafeteria located in the NIH Neurosciences Center containing a salad bar, a hot meal food bar, and a hot and cold sandwich line. The cafeteria also sells bottled juices and coffee and pre-wrapped pastries, cookies, and other snacks. Attendees may bring food/beverages from the cafeteria into the meeting rooms, if desired. Additionally, there is a coffee/snack cart on site.
