DISCO Web Interoperation and Database Schema Formats
DISCO describes the interoperation with a resource and supports any type of interface description language (IDL). For NIF, specific DISCO web interoperation and database schema formats have been defined and continue to be revised to accommodate new interoperation scenarios.
To register your resource at a deeper level (Data Federation):
- Register your resource for inclusion into the Registry. (Your resource will be curated within 7 days.)
- Create a Resource Description (Sitemap) and Main file for your resource through the NeuroLex Wiki.
- Set up a consultation with NIF by contacting the NIF interoperability team.
The registration process will require technical expertise and the data extraction information from the site will need to be provided.
