NIH RePORTER Tutorial

For up to date issues or problems with this database please see the wiki.
For more information, please visit the NIH RePORTER.

NIH RePORTER provides a listing of funded grants from NIH institutes.  This database has replaced the CRISP database.

The data represented in NIF is for active grants only.  For legacy grants please see GrantDatabase from ResearchCrossroads, which provides a much larger set of grants from NIH, NSF, the military and private foundations.

Terms likely to pull up studies are as varied as the NIH; below, we search for calcium dye.

The RePORTER database responds with 73 currently funded grants involving calcium dyes.  The data can be found under Data Type > Grants

Clicking on the blue link project number leads users to the RePORT website at NIH, where the full abstract and many additional details about each grant can be found.
